Sibylle Vogel was born in 1973 in Landau/Pfalz in Germany.
She studied singing and flute at the University of Cologne and Mannheim in Germany.
After her studies she sang both as a soloist and in the “Coro di Radiotelevision di Madrid”, the “Rundfunkchor Stuttgart”, the choir of “Kammeroper Vienna” and with Helmut Rillings “Bachkantorei Stuttgart”.
Since 1999 she has been a member of the Operachoir at the Opera House of Mannheim (Nationaltheater Mannheim), where she regularly takes roles as soloist, for example “Papagena” and “Erster Knabe” in “Papageno spielt auf der Zauberflote” composed by Streul and Mozart.
With her experience as a singer, during the course “Singing in Italian” Sibylle will be able to help and support the Students in improving their technical vocal skills, in approaching to the pieces and in performing both the polyphonic and the Opera pieces.
