She is a member of the Department of Italianistics and teaches Literary Criticism at the Faculty of Lettere of the University of Perugia.
She has dealt with Foscolo, Leopardi, Svevo, D’Annunzio, Pirandello, Calvino, Parise and Berto; she studied children’s war memories, women’s writings between the 19th and 20th centuries, contemporary female writing and the relationships between English, French and Italian literature in a number of journals of the end of 19th century.
She published essays on 19th and 20th c. literary critics such as Nencioni, Ojetti and Pancrazi.
